A blonde, a brunette & a redhead walk into a bar...

The beginning of a questionable joke? For sure. In our case, it also happens to be the beginning of our story.

You see, the three of us have been friends for awhile now. We enjoy each other's company – both for our witty banter, as well as our penchant for good sushi and $6 pitchers of the night's special on tap. It was one night while we were enjoying a couple of those pitchers that the bartender sauntered up to our side of the bar, looked at us with the wonder only someone who just discovered something awesome could possess, and said, "You guys!....(long pause)...a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead walk into a bar...!"

We had, in fact, just walked into the bar. And we are, in fact, a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead. We may not be as blonde, brunette, or red as childhood pics might indicate (that's just semantics), but as strong thirty-somethings, we embrace our identities as shaped by our hair color. It's what we do, people.

It was a few weeks later that The Blonde (we're official now; we get to use Capitalization) came up with the idea for this site. Her take is that the three of us have strong opinions on what we love – makeup, food, movies, culture, arts...all sorts of stuff – and it makes sense that we share that love with all of you. Like our tag line says..."Sometimes the most expert advice you'll ever get just might come from the girl next door".

Red, a genius in all areas of the arts, created this blog, as well as all the artwork you see on this site...we're so stoked by all of it, we can barely contain ourselves. In fact, if this site had sound, you'd hear a constant "Sqqqquuuueeeeeeeeee!!!!" That's the sound of how excited we are about our sweet site design.

That leaves me, The Brunette (you can call me Bruno). I like throwing words together into varying combinations and hope that they stick in some form of coherent thought. It's a special gift. Clearly. And? I love The Blonde and Red, and think that our collective efforts on this site will be...generally speaking....RADICAL.

Check out the site. We each have our own spot where you can see what each of us is loving at any given time. There's also the main page, where everything all comes together in one big, glorious jumble of lipstick, gourmet chocolate, and strappy boots. Enjoy...we sure do.
